Description

Working in collaboration with Tai Lue artisans in Ban Phonxay village near Luang Prabang, we’ve created a mix of tableware in a range of colours and styles. Working from their home village, the weavers are able to balance their domestic and child care routines, while still working and earning income.

The subtle patterns and colours of these tree motif cotton placemats is part of their appeal, although much work and care goes into the dyeing and weaving process. Handwoven with 100% handspun and naturally grown cotton through our Village Weavers Project.

  • Material: 100% cotton
  • Care Instructions: Hand wash in cool water, use mild soap
  • Dimensions: 40 cm x 30 cm (15.7 in x 11.8 in)
