Silk weaving has a long history in Laos, with strong links to the Silk Road’s legacy of cross cultural trade and exchange of ideas.

Eri silkworms are still cultivated in local households, and the silk they produce are known for their strength and for reflecting light beautifully.

Dyed in natural colours, eri silk becomes even more dynamic. Silk is great for everyday use, and our tapestry shoulder bag, with it’s natural cotton lining and zip closure, is versatile and ready for contemporary use!
