Description

Flash your appreciation for Laos’ master weaver skills with these hemp and eri silk tapestry clutches, available in classic black and white and green and pink combinations. Did you know tapestry or “namlai” weaving technique is one of the hardest to master?

The tapestry weave is used to show water features, and a weaver must be extremely skilled because she must weave without the aid of a pattern on the loom.

Designed freestyle by the weavers – no set pattern – this clutch brings a modern twist to tradition.
