Description

This cotton Tai Lue sinh, or skirt, is woven in a tapestry weave, which means the weaver does it “freestyle” without the aid of a pattern. Tapestry or namlai patterns often reflect water elements which is associated with the beauty and sustenance of living close to the river.

The motifs and weaving techniques on a sinhs vary by ethnic groups, and each is one striking in its own way. Our Tai Lue sinh has been sewn into a tube, making it easy to slip on, fold and belt. If you are interested in getting it tailored, let us know. We can arrange it.

Each one is unique and patterns and colours may vary. Please tell us your colour preference at checkout.
