Saa paper is a traditional paper handmade from the bark of a very fast growing mulberry bush that is very common in the Luang Prabang province. We source our saa paper from Ban Xang Khong, the village where our co-founder Veo is from. It is located about 5 kilometres east of Luang Prabang. The Lue people of this village are known in particular for their arts and crafts. The locals excel in the making of traditional saa paper.

A collaboration, through our Village Weavers Project, with Kriang artisans, an ethnic community based in southern Laos. Skilled backstrap weavers, the Kriang use striped textiles for their tube skirts. Complete the look with our Stripy Kriang Backpack, Stripy Kriang Two in One Backpack, Stripy Kriang Laptop Bag and Stripy Kriang Pencil Case. Have a look at the collection here.
