Description

The Stripy Kriang Pouch was designed to be multifunctional. Use it as a cosmetic bag or a pouch to hold ALL your basic necessities to carry around day and night. The wrist strap allows it to be used as a clutch or to hang on a hook or door when not in use.

We begin with textiles woven by the Kriang, an ethnic community based in southern Laos. Skilled backstrap weavers, the Kriang, who we work with through our Village Weavers Project, use striped textiles for their sinhs, or tube skirts. The finishing work is completed at the Living Crafts Centre.
