We traveled to Lamam City in Sekong Province in southern Laos, specifically to work with the Kriang, accomplished backstrap weavers who work with heavy cotton yarns. Kriang textiles are incredibly durable and ready to handle anything. The Kriang use striped textiles for their tube skirts.

Our collaboration with these artisans led to the creation of this light yet sturdy backpack. It’s the perfect size to fit everyone’s daily essentials…
