Description

Akha communities in northern Laos’ Phongsaly Province decorate their clothing with beads and embroidery. In collaboration with the Village Weavers Project.

Akha artisans have adapted this traditional skill to create playful necklaces made with coloured beads and naturally-dyed indigo cotton embroidered with star motifs. Wear it as a single strand, or a double strand!

Due to the handmade nature of this product, it is only available in multi-colour fabrics. Please add comments on the checkout  if you have a preference for the color.
