Description

Named after the town of Hongsa in the Province of Sayabuli, this beautiful intricate scarf will no doubt attract all eyes on you. It might not be as flowy as our other scarves but it definitely is a statement piece showcasing the craftsmanship of our master weavers.

Woven using the discontinuous supplementary weft weaving technique, one of the three weaving techniques most commonly seen in Lao textiles. Do you know the other two? One is namlai, or tapestry and the other one is kit, or supplementary weft.
