Description

Organza is silk in its rawest form, and we find it is a great canvas to showcase intricate supplementary weft motifs. In addition to the diamond motifs, which mean beauty and wisdom, we’ve incorporated bamboo reeds, Job’s Tears seeds, pompoms and whole silk cocoons, a tribute to all the natural and simple materials that contribute to the richness of Lao textiles and handicrafts.

Mrs. Panee is one of our master weavers and cultural ambassadors. A few years ago Mrs. Panee represented OPT at the International Folk Art Market and an event in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

The Harvest Organza silk wall hanging works well as a wall hanging and as a window covering. The transparency and durability of the organza silk also makes it a natural room divider. How will you use it? Let us know!
