Description

Bright and colorful, these bamboo coasters are woven by our Silk Road Café team in Luang Prabang. In Laos, bamboo weaving is traditionally done by men. It is said that a man cannot marry until he masters bamboo weaving.

We stitch upcycled handloom, naturally dyed cotton along the edge to complete the look! Handmade by the Silk Road Café staff at the Living Crafts Centre.

If you are in Luang Prabang, join us for a bamboo weaving class!

Due to the handmade nature of the product, no two coasters are the same; different colour combinations, different patterns.
