Description

Natural Lao cotton, dyed in indigo, plus Hmong indigo batik collar panels makes this open jacket an easy piece to incorporate into your wardrobe and works for all ages. We start with a simple silhouette, relaxed but structured enough to look smart, and add the Hmong batik pieces on the collar and pocket openings.

Hmong artisans use a traditional metal pen, a resist wax dye technique plus natural indigo to create their nature inspired motifs. To get the pieces needed to assemble this jacket, we work with Tai Lue and Hmong artisans through our Village Weavers Project.
