Description

Ock Pop Tok’s rug collection has been popular since we first unveiled it a few years back! We’ve kept the motifs and colours simple, making it easy to fit into any decor. The sturdy, heavy weight cotton yarns contribute durability and softness.

The Ko Keyo, or hook pattern, is woven using tapestry weaving technique where the weaver works without the aid of a pattern on the loom! The motif is inspired by similar patterns seen on Lao sinhs, although on a smaller scale.

Our master weavers have taken this traditional design and woven it in much larger proportion creating this striking bold design. Woven by master weavers at the Living Crafts Centre.
