Description

The alternating bands of the Khanna silk scarf are woven using two varieties of silk: Bombyx mori, which is finer, and Eri, which is heavier textured silk. The pattern pays tribute to khanna, which means rice fields in Lao language.

One of our original designs, the Khanna continues to be a much-loved bestseller! Handwoven at the Living Crafts Centre.
