Description

Our necktie collection now includes not only silk neckties but also cotton ones for a more casual… formal look!

We begin with 100% handwoven cotton fabric sourced from our partner artisans. Weaving at their looms in their home village, these artisans weave incredibly soft and distinctive cotton fabric using a four pedal loom. This is how what we call the Gettao pattern comes to life.

Gettao in Lao means the back of the turtle. Like the turtle, this necktie has been slowly made and will last for a long time… The interlocking fibers create a simple yet beautiful design.

We cut and sew the tie with the help of our local tailor in Luang Prabang, and voila, we give you a perfect gift item for anyone who likes to wear ties.
