Description

The Diamond Silk Road wall hanging is inspired by the prayer flags seen across Laos, especially our UNESCO World Heritage City! Traditionally prayer flags are made by Tai Lue weavers to bring peace, compassion, strength, wisdom and merit to their family.

This 100% silk piece is woven by Mrs. Mieng, a master weaver in our Luang Prabang studio. Her favourite prayer flag motif is the diamond, because it symbolizes knowledge and wisdom.
