Description

Soft, warm and eco-friendly, this blanket is woven on a four-pedal loom. This means the weaver has to keep track of four pedals with her feet, each of which lifts up different sections of the warp threads. The four pedal loom creates a textured diamond pattern! And, it gets better!

The blanket is woven using organic handspun cotton yarn and completed with a contrasting blanket whip stitch around the edges. Made in collaboration with Tai Lue artisans through our Village Weavers Project. The finishing work is done at the Living Crafts Centre.
