Description

Featuring natural a mix of Lao cotton and rayon, our shirts collection is a Village Weavers Project collaboration with the weavers in Nayang and Phonexay villages, both located in Luang Prabang province.

Nayang is famous for its soft local cotton, and the weavers in both villages weave the fibres in a checkered pattern, inspired by bamboo basketry weaving. The natural-on-natural checks give texture and dimension, and make the fabric extra cool and breezy. The finishing work is completed at the Living Crafts Centre.
