Akha communities in northern Laos’ Phongsaly Province decorate their clothing with beads and embroidery. In collaboration with the Village Weavers Project.

Akha artisans have adapted this traditional skill to create bead or gourd drop earrings. The cloth “bead” is made from cotton and embroidered with classic, nature-inspired motifs. Lightweight and easy to wear, they are great for all ages. Makes a great souvenir or gift from Laos!

Due to the handmade nature of this product, it is only available in multi-colour fabrics. Please email us to confirm which colours are available.
