Description

This reinforced, super sturdy hemp laptop sleeve hand made by Hmong artisans shows that traditional crafts and technology can be compatible.

Hmong artisans use wax-resist dyeing with indigo to create patterns on long strips of hemp fabric. The growing and weaving of hemp and the indigo batik techniques are still practiced by Hmong in remote villages.

The textiles are traditionally used to create textiles for wearing and for household use.
