These crafty upcycled coasters make use of old aluminum cans. Akha artisans cut and hammer the cans into little discs and then sew them on indigo dyed hemp. Job’s tears seeds are stitched along the edges for an extra visual and textural appeal! We work with Akha artisans in northern Laos through the Village Weavers Project. Pairs perfectly with a matching placemat.
